Popular Yoruba Nollywood actress Victoria Ajibola, widely known as Omo Local, has shared an emotional account of how betrayal ended her marriage.
Speaking during an interview on Oyinmomo TV, the actress revealed that a close friend became romantically involved with her husband — a development she said ultimately pushed her to walk away from the marriage.
According to Ajibola, discovering the growing relationship between her husband and her friend was the turning point.
“Yes, I did leave my marriage… What I know is that after I walked away, I heard my friend married my husband and even bore him three children,” she said.
She explained that after she exited the marriage, the two allegedly formalized their relationship and went on to build a family together.
A Moment of Painful Grace
Despite the emotional hurt, Ajibola recalled a moment that stood out: after one of the children was born, she visited her former friend at the clinic, dropped off baby gifts, and quietly left without staying.
The actress added that she currently has no contact with either her ex-husband or her former friend and does not know whether they are still together.
